Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the website https://lfi.edu.mx (the "Site"), owned by Lycée Français International Jules Verne ("LFI" or "the School").

1. Purpose

These terms govern the access, navigation and use of the Site by any person (the "User") who accesses it, as well as the conditions under which LFI makes the information contained in it available to the public.

2. Acceptance of terms

Access to and use of the Site implies full and unreserved acceptance of every provision included in this document. If you do not agree with any of these conditions, please refrain from using the Site.

3. Services offered through the site

Through the Site, LFI makes the following available to the public:

• Institutional and academic information, and details of our educational offer by level and section (French and English).
• Contact and admissions request forms.
• Downloadable informational material (PDFs) about each educational level.
• A virtual assistant (Chat IA Águilas) to answer general questions about the School.
• The school calendar, institutional blog, and other content related to school life.

The Site does not include any online commercial transactions, tuition payments, or any other form of e-commerce. Any payment related to enrollment is handled exclusively through the official channels indicated by the School's administrative office.

4. Use of the virtual assistant (AI Chat)

The virtual assistant available on the Site uses artificial intelligence technology to answer frequently asked questions about the School. Its responses are provided for informational and guidance purposes only; they do not constitute an official confirmation of admission, fees, or any other binding commitment by LFI. For official and definitive information, the User should contact the Admissions office directly.

5. User obligations and responsibilities

By using the Site, the User agrees to:

• Provide truthful, complete and up-to-date information in any form they complete.
• Not use the Site for illegal, defamatory, discriminatory purposes, or purposes contrary to morality and good customs.
• Not attempt to compromise, damage, or interfere with the security, operation, or technical infrastructure of the Site (including, without limitation, unauthorized access attempts, mass automated requests, or distribution of malicious code).
• Not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use the Site's content without LFI's prior written authorization.

LFI reserves the right to restrict, suspend or block access for any User who fails to comply with these obligations, without prior notice.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including, without limitation, text, images, logos, photographs, videos, graphic design, source code and structure — is the property of LFI or of third parties who have authorized its use, and is protected under Mexican and international copyright and industrial property law.

Reproduction, distribution, public communication or transformation of this content, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited without LFI's prior written authorization, except for the User's personal, non-commercial use, provided the source is always credited.

7. Links to third-party sites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (for example, social media, WhatsApp, or certification platforms such as Cambridge). LFI is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of such sites, access to which is the User's sole responsibility.

8. Limitation of liability

LFI makes its best effort to keep the Site's information accurate and up to date; however, it does not guarantee the complete absence of errors or omissions. Published information is for informational purposes and does not replace official, direct communication with the School for formal enrollment procedures, fees, or any academic decision.

LFI does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Site, and will not be liable for technical failures, service interruptions, or damages arising from the use or inability to use the Site, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

9. Changes to these terms

LFI may update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior individual notice. Changes will take effect upon publication on this same page. Users are encouraged to review this document periodically.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute arising from the interpretation or performance of this document, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the city of Querétaro, Querétaro, waiving any other venue that might correspond to them due to their present or future domicile.
