HISTORY

Lycée Français International Jules Verne, was founded on May 30, 2011 as a result of the agreement between the Governor of the State of Querétaro, José Calzada Rovirosa and the Ambassador of France, Daniel Parfait, under the Economic Development Program of the Franco-Mexican Business Network.

The Honorary Consul of France in Querétaro, Cécile Cherbonnel, and the businessman Diego García Santana, were in charge of the development of this project.

LFI hereby pays tribute to Mr. José Oleszcovski and Dr. Victor Mena who donated the land to make the project a reality. Unfortunately Mr. Oleszcovski was unable to see the school finished, but we will always remember him as the visionary he was.
