This is for children of at least 3 years of age with the required levels of sphincter control.

This section is approved by the French Ministry of National Education.

This first cycle is structured as follows:

Cycle 1

French is the main language in this cycle. The group teacher is French-speaking and has a Spanish-speaking assistant who gives a 45-minute session of Spanish per day.

The following skills will be evaluated through recreational activities:

  • Language: oral and written
  • Physical activity: acting and corporal expression
  • Artistic activities: plastic arts, visual arts, music and theatre
  • Thinking skills: numbers and shapes
  • Exploring the world: temporal location, space, living world, objects and materials

Primary school:

The French educational system for this section indicates that it must cover 5 years, and thus applies to students from 6 to 11 years of age.

It is divided into two learning cycles:

Cycle 3

*6th grade corresponds to the first year of secondary school in France

Students study under the French system in its entirety. They also study the subjects of the SEP system: Spanish, history, geography and civics. The learning of English begins in CP (1st of primary) with 5 weekly sessions.

Secondary school:

The French education system for this section covers 4 years and generally applies to students from 11 to 15 years of age.

Students follow the French system in its entirety through the CNED (National Distance Education Centre) modality. The following subjects are taught: mathematics, French, Spanish, English, German, history and geography, life and earth sciences, chemistry, physics, technology, music, plastic arts and Spanish, Mexican history, geography and civics.

In the French system, Secondary school is done in 4 years and Primary school in 5 years.
